How Do You Rate Trump As President?

This Rating is Solely Based Off User Votes

Hillary Clinton brought back the widely circulated image of former President Trump gazing at the sun during the 2017 solar eclipse, just as Americans gear up to witness another such celestial event this Monday.

On the social platform X, Clinton reposted the image of Trump observing the eclipse without the recommended protective eyewear. This moment was captured at a White House event where Trump, accompanied by the first lady Melania Trump, participated in viewing the solar eclipse.

Accompanying the photo, Clinton referenced a tweet she made in 2020, cautioning: “Please do not take medical advice from a man who looked directly at a solar eclipse.”

At the 2017 viewing, an aide to Trump was heard cautioning him with a “Don’t look” as he briefly removed his glasses to peer directly at the sun.

In light of the upcoming solar eclipse, NASA has issued a reminder urging individuals not to look directly at the sun without specialized solar viewing glasses, highlighting the risk of immediate eye damage. The agency emphasized that these glasses should meet the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard, pointing out that eclipse glasses are significantly darker than ordinary sunglasses.
