Thanks to a new law passed by Texas lawmakers and Gov. Greg Abbott, transgender athletes in Texas will be restricted to competing with other members of their own biological sex. So a transgender woman (a biological male) will not be permitted to compete in women’s sports.

This is a big step toward protecting women’s sports from male athletes and preserving records rightfully held by biological women.
