Liz Cheney recently appeared on the 60 Minutes TV news program to assert that she could beat her Trump-backed challenger in the 2022 mid-terms.
When asked if she thought she could win a 4th term, she said, “Absolutely. I think it’s going to be the most important House race in the country in 2022.”
Cheney fell out of favor with Republicans when she voted to impeach Trump over the January 6 riots. Trump has endorsed Harriet Hageman, a former Wyoming national Republican committeewoman, to run against Cheney.
