The democrats, biden administration is totalling screwing up. There is no aspect of life they have not hosed up on.
This big of a failure this fast proces liberal ideas and concepts do not work and liberal beliefs are wrong.
You liberals / democrats / progressives are proving your thinking is stupid. I just wonder if even 10% of you ignorant people will be able to learn from this.

Here in communist-run N.Y. as soon as dementia-joe closed the pipeline, the fuel stations started raising the prices. (right on cue) Up here when the weekend comes, (or a holiday) the prices are IMMEDIATELY raised on the gasoline, then after the weekend or holiday, they are reduced, (but not by much) Once the station owners get people coming, the prices seem to creep up daily, even though they bought the load of gasoline for a certain price, and have not had another tanker in for refilling. I call it “price gouging”.

Actaully as much as I hate liberals and NY there is a reason for those price increases. The station has to buy the next load of gas at the new price. They have to make enough money off the current gas to pay fir the next load plus their expenses.
Yes, that is what it is called. It is also called Capitalism. After not being able to make a profit last year, of course gas companies are going to start raising their prices as soon as they can. Since more people have been vaccinated, returning to work, and traveling more, gas companies are stupid if they don’t charge more. I don’t know anyone who owns a company that is not out to make money. Do you?
Stopping construction of an unfinished pipeline, that was not do to be completed anytime soon has absolutely nothing to do with your local gas stations raising their prices. If you think they do, then you really don’t know anything.
The rest of what you say makes perfect sense. Companies have to recoup their loses from last year somehow.

Fuel prices are definitely cyclical. Refineries generally stagger maintenance shut downs to capture the most qualified contractors to perform them. That is where the true shortage is. Qualified boilermakers, pipefitters, and welders are in short supply. Refineries also compete with many utility companies, and papermills for this resource.
So for all the mental giants blazing thru video games on mommy’s couch collecting government welfare, roll off the couch and earn some self respect. These are high paying positions if one doesn’t mind sweating and taking a shower daily.
