Show Comments 16 Comments Ray Benage on August 17, 2020 Has the thought of reducing the administrative costs ever occurred to people. Mary Murphy on August 17, 2020 Public schools get PLENTY OF MONEY! They need to think about how they can make it go around–less fluff? More actual “readin’, ritin’ & rithmatic? Jus wonderin? carol on August 17, 2020 Why on earth should property taxes be raised to support schools when they are not even opening. Maybe we should be paying parents to home school their kids because the teachers don’t want to go back to work. MAI PHAM LE on August 18, 2020 Greedy Democrats are responsible for all kinds of problems in every State and in the entire nation now! Sally on August 18, 2020 Only a stupid democrat would raise taxes right now. Oh! I guess that means the democrat states will all riase taxes. Like California and Washington state are doing. Anyone still voting democrat is a very low IQ person julie kemp on August 18, 2020 ON EVERY ballot is a bond or whatever for SCHOOLS??? Liars. Most of it is siphoned off into the general fund, and schools get very little. We still have large classrooms and rate 47 out of 50 states for good education. VOTE NO on all school bonds.!!! Jake on August 18, 2020 you are exactly right sally. Ifiots who vote for liberals/democrats after the bull schiff of the last nine months is a moron. By the way stol paying the teachers. Tearcee Crow on August 18, 2020 This is not the time to raise property taxes for the schools. If the teachers are not in school teaching then we need to stop paying them. People out of work and people not paying their rent will only hurt the availability of homes for people. Compound the problem by raising taxes due to the mismanagement of our local, county and state politicians is ridiculous. If people cannot work how do you expect them to pay higher taxes to give to those who do not want to work. We need to reap what we sow. If you do not work then you will not reap as the well will dry up very quickly. Barbara on August 18, 2020 YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING ———— YOU PICK NOW TO THINK THIS UP. – NO NOT NOW FOR AWHILE. WE HAVE KIDS THAT ARE AREN’T EVEN IN SCHOOL BUT AT HOME ON THE SCHOOL COMPUTERS HERE I NM.. OH YES WE KNOW HOW YOU WANT TO RAISE OUR TAXES AGAIN , WELL JUST WAIT TILL THINGS SETTLE DOWN IN TO ALMOST NORMAL ROUTINES. Sharon on August 18, 2020 NO WAY! Public Schools aren’t even going to open this year here so why on earth would the Public Schools need ANY funding! They don’t have to pay Custodians, Teachers or Administrators when there is no work for them, or at least they Shouldn’t be paid. So there is no reason for extra funding in the school system. CAROLYN WALTER on August 18, 2020 THEY ALREADY HAVE IN WASHINGTON STATE, UNFORTUNATELY THAT IS WHERE I LIVE. Comments are closed.
