Hunter Biden says he has no plans to apologize to First Lady Melania Trump — despite her threat to sue — over comments he made linking her to Jeffrey Epstein.

In a new interview with independent journalist Andrew Callaghan released Thursday, Biden dismissed the legal warning from Melania’s attorneys. “F— that,” he said bluntly. “That’s not going to happen.”

Earlier this month, Biden claimed in a separate Callaghan interview that Epstein “introduced Melania” to Donald Trump — a remark the first lady’s attorney Alejandro Brito blasted as “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory.” In an Aug. 6 letter, Brito threatened to sue Biden for $1 billion in damages unless he issued a “full and fair retraction.”

Brito said Biden’s claim relied on author Michael Wolff, whose reporting on the subject had already been retracted by The Daily Beast with an apology to Melania. Despite this, Brito wrote, Biden “maliciously elected to republish” the accusations.

Biden is unmoved. He told Callaghan he believes both Donald and Melania Trump are “bullies” who think a lawsuit will intimidate him — and that he’d welcome a deposition so the couple could answer questions about their ties to Epstein. “I’m more than happy to provide them the platform to be able to do that,” he said.

Nick Clemens, an aide to Melania, said Wednesday that her attorneys are “actively ensuring immediate retractions and apologies by those who spread malicious, defamatory falsehoods.”

This latest clash adds another layer to the long-running hostility between the Bidens and Trumps — and shows Hunter Biden is ready to escalate, not back down.
