In this situation we have a doubled edged sword. One edge is commonsense that, if the public is not being protected by the established authorities hired to do so, then the “civil public” are, by obvious necessity, MUST do so for and by their own acts.
The second edge is that once the dust has settled, there will be those looking to punish those who. by necessity, took the task of self protection into their own hands. Claiming the noble mantra that “justice must be served”, they will forget the original necessity for self protection because of the inaction of the elected officials and authorities.
The absent authorities at the time of need will then try to justify their cowardly absence. This is done in an attempt to justify themselves by turning the attention and punishment on those front line “civil public” who did, by necessity. did take action.
Remember this well because in one form or another it WILL happen. The absent authorities will indeed try to wash their hands clean in the blood of those who were forced to act where they did/would not!

If these demarates want to defund the police. Who’s going to protect the citizens? Sure not the demarates.The demarates have their personal security with the taxpayers money. They’ve thrown the citizens to the wolves. So , YES! To forming a militia group. However, be careful. Some could be corrupted and be come to powerful. Just like the gangs in the streets. These children in the streets raising hell and destroying cities and businesses are like the gangs and their Tough Love. Acts of violence and against the laws are the ways to get and receive attention that they are not receiving at “HOME”. Pay attention while I do these awful and un-lawful things to my fellow man(or woman) AND then while I have your attention You can shower me with the attention I have been longing for. NOT exactly what I need BUT it will do and make me feel that I belong and am a part of something of my needing.

As I have always understood it, protestors and or demonstrators are fully legal if they dont mess with private or public property, carry signs, chant anything to attract attention to their cause. The intent is to gain public support to get the attention of law makers to their cause. BUT WHEN THEY CROSS THE LINE AND CAUSE PROBLEMS FOR PRIVATE PROPERTY, BLOCK STREETS, CREATE DANGER FOR CITIZENS, THEIR FAMLIES, ANIMALS OR PROPERTY THEN ITS TIME TO TAKE THEM DOWN ! Local militias made up of law abiding citizens armed and are or are lead by exmilitary but mainly experienced in handling fire arms, then if the rioters get hurt or killed there should be no reprecussions. IT SHOULD BE RIOTERS, PARAMILITARY GENERALLY CRIMINALLY ACTING SPECIALLY WHERE THE PARTICIPANTS WERE NOT FROM THE AREA LOOK OUT AND STAY AWAY OR EXPECT TO BE HURT!
I believe that it was the militias who fought originally against the British in the late 1700s. When you look at early pictures (or should I say paintings) of George Washington, he is dressed in gold ,white and blue. The continental army were dressed in red,white and blue which George Washington wore after the revolution. If I am wrong on this, please somebody correct me. As for today, our militias are our last line of defense against invaders.
Why not! The Second Amendment gives citizens the right to bear arms to form a militia.
