Should Florida’s U.S. 27 Be Renamed President Donald J. Trump Highway?

U.S. 27 is Florida’s longest highway. It runs 481 miles from Miami to the Georgia state line north of Tallahassee. Rep. Anthony Sabatini has pre-filed House Bill 29 for the legislative session that begins in early 2022.

The bill calls on Florida’s Department of Transportation (FDOT) “to erect suitable markers designating President Donald J. Trump Highway” along U.S. 27.
