Undecided voters make up a significant portion of both registered and unregistered voters in a recent poll.

The poll, which surveyed 900 adults, found that 15% of unregistered voters and 13% of registered voters said they were undecided about who they would vote for in the 2024 presidential election. Another 28% of unregistered voters and 33% of registered voters said they would vote for someone other than Joe Biden or Donald Trump.

Trump and Biden had similar favorable and unfavorable ratings in the poll, with Biden’s favorability at 23.5% and Trump’s at 27.5%. Biden’s unfavorability was 52%, while Trump’s was 49%.

The poll also found that the age and regional demographics of the respondents were roughly evenly distributed. The respondents were 11% ages 18-24, 18% ages 25-34, 28% ages 35-49, 23% ages 50-64, and 20% ages 65 or older. They were also 21% from the Northeast, 31% from the South, 22% from the Midwest, and 26% from the West.

The party affiliations of the respondents were also evenly distributed, with 14% identifying as Democrats, 13% as Republicans, 29% as independents, 32% as something else, and 12% refusing to answer.

Among registered voters, 17.5% said they voted for Biden in 2020, 23% said they voted for Trump, and 54% said they did not vote.

The poll’s findings suggest that the 2024 presidential election is still a very competitive race, with a significant number of undecided voters. The results also highlight the importance of party affiliation and voter turnout in the upcoming election.tuneshareGoogle it
