New reports show that gas prices are now at 7-year highs, and given the ongoing actions of the Biden administration it’s a near certainty that gas prices will go even higher.
Why is this happening? It’s due in large part to the war President Joe Biden is waging against domestic energy producers. For example, on his first day in office, Biden shut down the Keystone XL pipeline by executive order.
The Biden administration has continued to crippled domestic energy production by halting new oil and gas leases on federal land while increasing regulatory burdens. Just The News reports:
“The Democrats’ $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill reportedly includes an estimated $6 billion worth of charges on U.S. oil and gas operators on federal lands, which could effectively put mom and pop small business, and minority and Native-owned operations out of business, in addition to killing tens of thousands of jobs.”
