Vice President Kamala Harris has remained mostly invisible during Biden’s first term. In fact, it’s hard to determine whether she’s doing anything at all.
After Biden appointed Harris to address the immigration crisis at the border, Harris seemed to do nothing for 94 days. When she finally went south, she still didn’t go to the border, choosing to stop instead at a location hundreds of miles away from the actual border crisis.
Even this late visit seemed designed to pre-empt Trump’s visit to the Texas-Mexico border, which took place the following week.
