On September 16, special counsel John Durham indicted Perkins Coie lawyer Michael Sussmann for a false statement he made to promote the Trump–Russia collusion narrative. At the time Sussman made his false statement, he was working for the Clinton campaign.
Robert Mueller’s 2-year long investigation found no proof of collusion between Trump and Russia. Evidence has since come out that the Clinton campaign pushed the Trump–Russia collusion narrative as a means of disparaging Trump and attempting to win the 2016 election.
To make matters worse, leading Democrats like Adam Schiff and Chuck Schumer heavily promoted the false narrative through the complicit media.
