Mandatory face masks for the unvaccinated is perhaps one of the most contentious issues in public schools today. There have been many heated school board meetings to debate the issue.

Vaccinated people believe they are at risk of exposure from unvaccinated people. Unvaccinated people argue that those who are vaccinated should not have anything to worry about.

They also argue that students are at low risk of serious illness, and any form of segregation based on vaccine status will lead to bullying and discrimination.
