Behind the Poll
As the election to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom proceeds in California, the Secretary of State’s Office has made the decision to allow people to download ballots at home, fill them out, and mail them in.
Not only that, they are also mailing ballots to every registered voter regardless of whether they asked for one or not.
Critics are concerned that allowing ballots to be downloaded at home will create election security issues on top of an already insecure election process.
