On Monday, August 16, Sen. Rick Scott tweeted: “After the disastrous events in Afghanistan, we must confront a serious question: Is Joe Biden capable of discharging the duties of his office or has time come to exercise the provisions of the 25th Amendment?”

CNN defended the President, claiming that Biden and his top aides were caught by surprise by how quickly the Taliban took over, and that Biden’s failure in Afghanistan did not justify his removal under the 25th Amendment.
