Some Trump supporters have hypothesized that former president Donald Trump will run for the House of Representatives in 2022. If he is elected, and if the Republicans take the majority in the House, Trump might then replace Nancy Pelosi as the Speaker of the House.
At this point, it’s difficult to say whether Trump will attempt to do this or not. But given the massive disillusionment with the Biden administration, it’s certainly within the realm of possibility.
