In previous seasons, NFL players have taken a knee during the national anthem to draw attention to racial injustice and police brutality.
Now, during the upcoming 2021/2022 season, the NFL is pushing hard to get as many players vaccinated as possible. Players who decline get pressured by the league and blasted by the press.
Many NFL fans have gotten fed up with what they view as the NFL’s political activism. Some fans have chosen to boycott the NFL because they feel the league is now being used to promote specific political viewpoints.
